We call it the F-serie D-SPLICER. A serie of three needles with fixed handles. Comes in diameters of 15, 20 and 25 mm. Whilst the original D-SPLICER set has spare needles and a tube for easy storage, the fixed needles are low weight and ready to use.

Distributor network D-SPLICER is expanding
Worldwide sailors and riggers have discovered the D-SPLICER as a helpful tool. Splicing and working with thin dyneema lines has become much easier. D-SPLICER sets have been shipped to Austrialia, USA, all over Europe and even the Philippines. We now have listed our main distributors and some retailers to help you out.
METS 2012 in Amsterdam
Many new interested distributors from around the globe have applied to carry the D-SPLICER in their assortment during the METS 2012 in Amsterdam this week of November. It is great to hear professional riggers confirm that the D-SPLICER indeed is the rigging fid for thin diameters that wasn’t there yet. The double needle makes it perfect to handle everything up to at least 5 mm.

Dyneema softshackle
I like making things and a Dyneema softshackle has been one of the most rewarding things I recently made. And it’s not just me, people love it! I have given them away to many sailing friends.

Sneak preview at METS 2011
My prototype was just ready and presented to some riggers at the METS in Amsterdam this year. I was overwhelmed by the reactions and interest for the tools. Good thing we just ordered a first batch and were soon ready to deliver.
D-splicer needle
When trying to splice 3mm dyneema core-to-core my standard splicing needle set did not give me what I needed. I tried to make something out of a metal wire and a cork. That worked pretty well. With a mechanical engineering background I probably have a more than average interest in tools and technique. I started to improve my self made tool and worked with a manufacturer to produce it. A new product was born: D-SPLICER needle.
